Honda Keyprog v2.0 supports Honda cars and Acura with mechanical key since 2003 and "Keyless Start" system since 2009.
The device has an operating mode switch “K-N”, bi-color led and a sound emitter. Time recording of new key 60 to 120 second.
Operating modes and indication
Modes switch.
“N” - work with the mechanical key.
“K” - work with "Keyless start" system.
The visual and audible indication modes.
- Short signals "BEEP" - the ignition must be turned on.
No signals - turn off the ignition.
Sound of rising tone (from low to high frequency sweep) - “OK” - The key is recorded.
Sound of falling tone (from high to low frequency sweep) - “BAD” - The key is not recorded.
It is possible to work only with beeps and not look at the LED.
- The red led lights + “BEEP” - The ignition must be turned on.
- The red led went out - The ignition must be turned off.
- The green led lights + “OK” - Programming completed.
- The red led lights flashes + “BAD” - Error writing key.

Operation sequence (step-by-step instruction)
To work with mechanical key, you should switch to "N" mode.
To work with "KeyLess", you should switch to "K" mode.
1. Turn on the ignition and insert the programmer, red led lights + “BEEP” ( for Keyless system - Hold down the button “START” and insert the programmer. The ignition is turned on within a few seconds. Only one KeyLess key must be inside the car!!! )
2. The red led went out - Turn off the ignition;
3. The red led lights + “BEEP” - Switch on the ignition;
4. The red led went out - Turn off the ignition;
5. The red led lights + “BEEP” - Switch on the ignition;
6. The red led went out - Turn off the ignition;
7. The red led lights + “BEEP” - Switch on the ignition;
8. The green led lights + “ BEEP = OK” - The key recorded!
It is recommended to only use the original key blanks.
